Agenda of activities
Date: 25 August, 2023 - On the waters of the Danube
The day started with a walk through the historic center of Bratislava.
Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, is located on the banks of the Danube, close to Slovakia's borders with Austria and Hungary, and quite close to the border with the Czech Republic. We visited the city and we all enjoyed its beauty and architecture.
Bratislava Castle, the symbol of the city, is positioned on a hill in the old town, it is quite simple in shape, with an almost square plan, straight walls and a tower at each of the four corners. Over time, it has witnessed numerous historical events, changing its form and role several times.
Our journey continued on the waves of the Danube. We discussed the art of Splash Trash, finding creative recycling solutions for waste thrown into rivers, seas and oceans.
Splash Trash Art uses plastic trash collected from oceans, rivers, lakes and other waterways and transforms it into new products.
Then we visited the Devin castle, a place full of history, art and culture.
Devin Castle, located on a massive rock hill above the confluence of the Danube and Morava, is a very impressive landmark. It is part of the oldest history of Slovakia.
The capital of Slovakia, surrounded by the Moravia and Danube rivers, is a true natural treasure.

Date: 26 August, 2023 – Day of creative recycling workshops
Using recyclable packaging, flowers, plastic, aromatic oils, glass or metal supports, we learned to make scented candles and decorative objects from paraffin.
The perfume spread by candles, their warmth and light create a feeling of well-being and can completely transform the design of a room. Now we can create our own scented candles from natural ingredients, which can be ideal gifts for friends and family.
We can do simple things that bring us the joy of our favorite flavor and the excitement of creating unique and useful objects by ourselves.
And of course, we couldn't leave until we had admired the beauty of Bratislava and the Danube from the UFO tower
